Three years ago i began a journey. No, I didn't have to go anywhere geographically. Heaven knows how I despise sitting for long boring drives. My journey was a journey of the mind. I set out on this journey because I knew that somewhere out there beyond my immediate surroundings there had to be more.
In 2008 I picked up a book called the Four Hour Work Week. Why? because I needed more something more in my life. I was growing tired and bored with my daily experience. I was in a rut. I needed to get out and the book provided a window to peer out of into another a possibility, another world that lay outside of my emotional dwelling.
I have read the book 3 times now. Why? I don't know--i guess I wanted to let it sink a little at a time, and it has. I have now begun to implement the concepts and ideas contained in the book. There are lots of interesting concepts, but essentially it comes down to a couple of very powerful and life-changing ideas: DREAM! TAKE ACTION! DON'T WAIT.
I have now read other books that you must know about they will change your life.
YOU ARE AN AMAZING PERSON WITH HIDDEN TALENTS AND SKILLS!!!
Don't sell yourself short.
Follow your HEART!!! Listen to that feeling inside you that INSTINCTIVELY shows you the path to your HAPPINESS AND ULTIMATE SUCCESS!!!!

I'm having a similar experience with "Three Cups of Tea," which really pisses me off because I don't want to like it.
ReplyDelete--Yes, every day we get up and we have choices. Those choices are like building blocks that go into the edifice of our life. As we construct each piece we have to be careful that we not only choose the correct building material, but we must also ensure that it's placed just right. A wrong move and the building will have a weak foundation and something that is susceptible to crumbling. Moral: "make wise decisions about how you go about building your house."
